I have been collecting and selling vintage cigarette lighters on my Etsy site- Light It Up Vintage- for over two years. Most of the lighters are from my grandfather's collection, and the others I have hunted down at garage sales and flea markets. Each lighter is refurbished to working condition.

 

A full refurbishment of a lighter starts with the replacement of the flint. The wicks and the rayon are also replaced as needed for the lighters. All lighters are lightly cleaned inside and out. Depending on the lighter, the item may also be polished.
