Lil' Ohmie is a circuit-bent miniature, portable amplifier. The amplifier uses a 'Hit Stix' percussion toy from the 1980's as the foundation. A short circuit was placed on the LM386 amplifier chip which allowed for a larger range of frequencies to pass through the chip.

 

The amplifier was painted a teal blue inspired by mid-century modern colors. A label was also designed in Photoshop.
